FMRNA Celebrates its 20th Anniversary

Congratulations FMRNA (formerly AFPRN) in celebrating our 20th anniversary at this year's RPS conference! Another great conference took place in Kansas City as the board attended the RPS conference. FMRNA held their 3rd annual Nursing pre-conference on Saturday March 28th. We had great speakers presenting on the topics of Emergency preparedness, policies and procedures and grant writing. During the RPS conference we held our annual business meeting and had the privilege of having Rita Arras, a former past president as the keynote speaker.
We welcome to our board our newest Member at Large Joanne Smetters. Joanne is from Dixon, Il. We are also pleased to welcome back onto the board one of our past presidents, Judy Rops as a Member at Large. Judy recently retired from her administrative management position and is now working several days a week as a nurse in her Family Medicine residency in Sioux Falls, SD. Welcome to these newest members of the board!

The FMRNA board members are excited to roll out our new and improved website and logo! The website is user friendly and more interactive. Your feedback is appreciated as we continue to seek ways to better serve our membership.
