2010 Conference for Family Medicine Residencies

It's that time of year again. Spring has sprung. Time to reconnect and rejuvenate ourselves. RPS is a great time to learn about our speciality, to network with others in our unique situation, and to kick start your passion for your chosen career.
FMRNA will be hosting our annual Pre Conference again this year. The Pre-Conference is Saturday March 27, 2010 from 2:00 - 5:30 pm. Our theme this year 'Things They Never Taught you in Nursing School'. We are taught how to give medications, do assessments and the nursing process, but we are never taught about budgets, telephone triage or working with other professional staff. Our Pre-Conference will present sessions on 'Budget Basics for Nursing', 'The Benefits of Having a Pharmacist at your Residency Program' and 'Professionalism in Telephone Triage'. We are also pleased to offer 3.0 Continuing Education Credit Hours.
